On November 13, a group of 6 people including Wang Wei, director of international programs of Miami University China office, University of Miami, the US, and Ms Sandy Prentice, deputy director-general of Cootenay Lake School District No.8 in Canada, came to visit New Huadu Business School. Dr. Lin Lin, dean of New Huadu Business School, Wang Xianbin, vice dean of New Huadu Business School, and Professor Li Yang met with the guests.
At the meeting, Dr. Lin Lin expressed welcome for the guests' visit. He introduced the basic situation of New Huadu Business School such as its history of development, specialties, talent training, foreign exchanges and planning of internationalization; and he wished to conduct in-depth cooperation and exchange with Miami University in the form of scientific research and exchange visits of teachers and students. Mr. Wang Wei and Ms Sandy Prentice expressed their gratitude for the warm reception of the School.
Mr. Wang Wei appreciated the world-class teaching facilities of New Huadu Business School and identified strongly with our cultivation scheme with the end to strengthen the global vision of the students. Both sides discussed concrete matters like the enrollment requirements for exchange students and joint training of 2+2 students, and reached the preliminary intention for cooperation.
Ms Sandy Prentice identified strongly with the educational vision of New Huadu Business School and she said she was willing to recommend students to study the iMBA Program of Minjiang University; she wished to let the Canadian students understand the real Chinese conditions and customs through the exchange projects enabling trips to China and develop together with and learn from each other with Chinese students. At the same time she expressed her aspiration to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in advanced teaching method, experiences in student training and management, exchange of international teachers and students, etc.

Kootenay Lake School District No.8 in Canada is located at the beautiful selkirk mountains of British Columbia in Canada. This area has a population of about 40,000 comprising mainly the professionals, entrepreneurs and retirees. The whole area extends along Kootenay Lake and also includes the general headquarters of Kootenay Lake School District No.8 and Nelson where Lv Rogers Middle School is located.
