“Discovering China!”, iMBA Chinese Culture class

iMBA students of NBS in their recent Chinese Culture class learn about geographical location of China, its 23 provinces, 5 autonomous regions, 4 direct-controlled municipalities and the special administrative regions——Hong Kong and Macau.

iMBA students were provided with a jigsaw puzzle map of the People’s Republic of China. The objective of this activity was to help them to get familiar with the Chinese Culture and its provinces. Each province has its own history and distinctive features. For examples, Si Chuan is the home of Pandas. Most of the food produced to fulfill the nationwide demand is grown in the Northern part of China, i.e Hei Long Jiang, Ji Lin and Liao Ning provinces. There are two main rivers in China, the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. The Yellow River is also known as the mother river of China.

The International students of NewHuadu Business School had a wonderful time during this session. When a teacher makes learning process enjoyable and fun, it becomes easy for student to retain the knowledge because of the interactions and enjoyable memories. The iMBA students left with feeling of belonging to China and with a better understanding of China’s geography and cultural traits.
